Palm Sunday Evening 

The Service of the Bridegroom 

Palm Sunday is also referred to and celebrates the brilliant feast of the Services of Our Lord's Entry into Jerusalem. This is when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem and the people declared him as their King. This event was so important; it is covered in each of the Four Gospels. Shortly after his Triumphant Entry, Jesus predicted His death. 

A custom of distributing branches of palms to the people in the Church prevails to this day, commemorating the victory of Christ against the evil powers. 

For the first three days, there is a general theme; these are the days that set the stage for Christ's death and resurrection.
