MESSAGE FROM FATHER PETER
On Thursday, October 10th, we will be hosting our 5thAnnual Hellenic Golf Tournament. Thank you to all that have registered and to everyone who has sponsored this event!
Funds raised will go towards the Hellenic Community of Calgary and Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids. The Hellenic Community of Calgary runs various programs and capital projects throughout the year. Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids prepares lunches for over 4,400 of Calgary’s children attending school without a lunch every day and have over 600 volunteers. Funds will go to help the Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids lunch program.
Every year, I look forward to our annual golf tournament. It is a fun and rewarding event where members of the Greek and Calgary communities come together as one to fundraise for important causes and especially this year, where you can help provide lunches for kids at school.
This year I will not be attending the golf tournament as I will be in Kingston Ontario at the annual clergy conference. Please accept my sincere regrets for my absence.
I’m sure it will be a great success! The Golf Committee has been working hard over the summer planning and organizing this event. I encourage you all to register for golf and for those who aren’t able, you can register for a fantastic dinner, stay for the silent auction, a live auction and much more!
Thank you for your support of our amazing community and helping Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids with their amazing work!

God Bless,

FP
